A training course aimed at enabling Fracture Prevention Practitioners (FPPs) to deliver excellent health care to people with, or at risk of, osteoporosis and fragility fractures throughout the UK, using nationally agreed best-practice standards.
The National Training Scheme for Bone Densitometry consists of a 2-day lecture course on 'Bone densitometry in osteoporosis assessment and management' plus an opportunity for Certification.
This osteoporosis resource is a joint initiative of the Royal College of General Practitioners and the National Osteoporosis Society. Its aim is to equip GPs, practice nurses and other members of the practice team with relevant information about osteoporosis.
Days designed to engage, educate and inform all health professionals who work with people with or at risk of osteoporosis. The programme will be relevant to all health care professionals.
