Take part in your next challenge by running, walking or cycling for the National Osteoporosis Society
Any gift, large or small, will help us continue to improve the lives of people with osteoporosis and to work towards our vision of a future without fragility fractures.
However, a gift to the National Osteoporosis Society is also free of Inheritance Tax. Therefore, it could also help to reduce the amount of Inheritance Tax payable on your estate.
Inheritance Tax is currently set at 40% of everything above £325,000 and when added together you may be surprised how much your estate is worth. Your estate includes your savings accounts, house, stocks and shares, pensions, insurance policies etc. If you leave 10% of your estate to chairty, the tax due may be paid at a reduced rate of 36% instead of 40%.
Find out more about inheritance tax and charitable giving by speaking to your solicitor, or visit either the HMRC website.
