The Osteoporosis Report

Your Bones and Osteoporosis: What every Man, Woman and Child should Know

We are concerned at the lack of public awareness about the risks of osteoporosis, and    the steps that each and every one of us could take to ensure that our bones stay strong into later life. In June 2008, we commissioned YouGov to conduct a survey of UK adults’ awareness and understanding of osteoporosis.

2,615 people from twelve regions across the UK were asked a series of questions that would accurately identify how much the general public currently understands about osteoporosis. The report investigates the findings of the survey and separates myth and reality.
