Updated statement - Rob Berry
The National Osteoporosis Society has been profoundly touched and humbled by the donations that continue to be given in Rob’s memory and when the time is right, we hope to be able to work closely with Rob’s family to determine the best way we can use the funds raised. In the meantime, a statement has been released by Rob’s family through the Virgin London Marathon website which you can read here. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies remain with the family and we are continuing to respect their privacy at this sad and difficult time.
New Fracture Liaison Service launches in Wigan Borough
A new fracture liaison service in Wigan aims to tackle the growing problem of fractures caused by osteoporosis in the local population. The Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Trust has worked in partnership with Wigan Clinical Commissioning Group to launch the service at Bridgewater Hospital. Read more
