Falls Awareness Week 17th to 21st June
This week is Falls Awareness Week, an annual occasion to draw attention to the issue of falls and to provide information and support for those at risk. This year the theme is Healthy Feet, which will emphasise the importance of foot health in the prevention of falls.
Earlier this year we published an article on foot health and falls, with tips and exercises to keep your feet healthy, and information about what to do in the event of a fall.
Visit AgeUK's website for more information about falls awareness week.
