Support Group Launch

On 14th August 2012 the Milton Keynes & District Support Group held their first meeting formally launching the newly formed Support Group.  Around 60 people attended which was held at the Newton Longville Free Church.  

The Deputy Mayor of Milton Keynes Councillor Brian White attended the event wishing the Group every success for the future.

Dr Anne Jenkins, Consultant Rheumatologist, Milton Keynes General Hospital gave a very comprehensive talk on osteoporosis enthralling the audience with her knowledge and answering many of their questions. 

The newly formed committee of the Support Group were extremely pleased with the event and that so many people from the surrounding area attended their first meeting.
