| Hello I have been diagnosed last year with severe osteoporosis caused by anorexia and I am 26 years old. I am currently taking alendronic acid and may also be taking Yasmin. I have been told I only have until 28 to halt deterioration of bone loss and that following having a repeat scan this year told that I will never improve my bones out of the severe osteoporosis range any possibly halt deterioration. After researching alendronic acid I have seen that it is only for post menopausal women and not registered for pre. I was wondering if there was any other treatment plan i should be on or available or any dietry information. I have read about zoledronate yearly infusions, is this a better form of treatment for someone who only has 18 months left to halt deterioration? Any information would be greatly recieved Thankyou Clare
