Where are you all?  It's so quiet and lonely on here.  Is everyone on holiday?  If so I hope you are all enjoying yourselves - don't forget to take your pills.  Hope to hear from you soon.

Hello Girls! I'm still waiting for a return appointment with the Metabolic Bone guy, to decide on appropriate OP treatment (choice of Denusomab and Alcasta, it seems), I saw my rheumatologist about a month ago and she was surprised I hadn't heard. Very shortly after this I received my appointment - for Sept 7th, when I'm away in London. Sigh. I then phoned the Consultants secretary to reschedule and she said "oh yes, Dr. A wants to see you as soon as possible, But he's fully booked til February now; I'll have to get back to you." that was three weeks ago and I'm still waiting......

Okay, rant over!

diagnosed OP at 40, menopause at 42. Intolerant of AA and SR. Got along on Adcal D3, diet and exercise for last ten years. OP worsening. Fractured knee, fibula and shoulder this year. About to commence annual infusion.......

Hi Annabel

Thanks for your reply.  I was feeling that I was the only one not going away, sob, sob.  Silly woman - I must pick myself up off the floor and get on with life.  I have some cupboards to clear out.  Hateful job but I know I'll feel good when I've done at least one.

Hi Amelie, Annabel and Linz,
I'm quite new here, so there are many archive posts I can browse.
But I was a little disappointed when I found out how quiet this forum gets at times.
It's a very good forum, so I hope it picks up.

It does get quiet. But I think that the quality of the posting is so helpful I'd rather have it quiet at times than busy with 'rubbish'.

It'd be nice if it were busy with 'good posts' all the time.
