| Some of you may have read on the homepage of the website that Craig Revel Horwood (of Strictly Come Dancing fame) is now a patron of the charity - great news! Are any of you familiar with him / Strictly come dancing, what do you think of the news that he's become a patron of the charity and will be helping us to raise awareness of osteoporosis?

| I am aware of Craig Revel Horwood through media articles relating to the 'dancing' programmes. Before my very recent diagnosis, I was aware only of the word Osteoporosis. Since then I've been horrified to learn how many people are affected by it. I really hadn't given it any thought. Thus I sincerely hope Mr Horwood is able to use his current 'high profile' to attract some necessary and most welcome publicity. At the time of writing this I've 'heard' nothing from him but will continue to scour the media for everything he has to say on the subject of Osteoporosis. In the meantime I will continue to support my local group and, along with the other members, 'spread the word' whenever I can.

I am holding a charity auction to raise money for NOS as my mum suffers from Osteoporosis - i contacted Craig who sent me a signed book and some signed strictly numbers to auction off 
hopefully his high profile will help the charity and let others know all about osteoporosis.

I will def let you know how it goes - just contacted your fundraising team who are going to help me with patrons getting involved - going to aim to get tv publicity 
I am so excited to be doing this and hope it raises lots of money!
