| I have just had my first Aclasta infusion... nine days ago. This is annual infusion done in a clinic and takes approximately fifteen minutes. I was told about the side effects, flu symptoms, aching joints, headache, nausea, and more but also told that not many people have serious side effects and most are just within the first three to seven days. Well at this nine day mark, my feet and knees are painful and swollen, I can't wear shoes or get into the bathtub. My shoulders are so stiff that I cannot drive safely. My headache has just about gone, thank goodness... My hands ache... in fact my whole body aches. I'm worried as this is a once a year treatment, it must be a slow release process so how long is this going to go on for. Has anyone else had these reactions to Aclasta? and if so how long did they last?

I will have my next Aclasta infusion 3 weeks from now.
My last infusion (my first), gave me flu symptoms, headache, muscle pain, and I was very tired.
Those side effects was there for about 7 to 10 days.

I had my first infusion 8 days ago and still feel about 90yo. The extreme chills and muscle spasms are gone but I really need a grease and oil change in all my joints. Can anyone tell me whether the 2nd infusion was better because I want to add it all up before my next one in 12 months time.

| Hy Sue, how do you feel now, after some months you received yor Aclasta? Are all the symptons desappeared? I had my first aclasta dosis one week ago (Oct. 3, 2011) and I did not have any any kind of reaction. I'm waiting for some but I really feel very good and I've heart's surgery too. I'm scared to have some reactions in the next weeks or months. Do you think if I could have in the future? Thanks and take care.
