hi peeps, because ive been ill most off my life and the bulk off my adult life meant i couldnt take pain relief, ive had pneumonia as a child when my parents were told i wouldnt make it but im a fighter i did,i believe it set me up for the rest off my life, after my 4th child when i was 30yrs within 2 hours off having her i had a heart attack since then ive had shingles, the mumps broke my wrist and many other things happening,im 47yrs old my hubby has been there for 27yrs off that so apart from me he knows exactly how i feel and how i deal with my body and the pain,im not a healthy eating freak as i definatly must have a cream cake at least once a week, but i do feel the quicker i accepted my illness,s the better, ive gave up moaning at anyone whod listen, and feeling sorry for myself,i am very content with my life now despite the pain,i get up in the early hrs as i cant stay in bed late have a cuppa T put the dogs out then i feed them and the cat then have another cuppaT then get dressed and start the day if theres alot to do i cut the chores up and see what i can do if it gets to much then i sit on couch and close my eyes and self meditate for 20 mins then start the process again,if im goin out i dont do anything in the house as everything can be painfull and very tiresome as the hardest thing isnt the pain but the fatigue, you see although im much loved from my family and friends everyone has the right to live there life be it work ,college,or recoration i will not be a burden to myself or others positive thoughts and movement everyday is the best pain relief for me keeping active and knowing when to stop is my self help yes i might be in alot off pain 24/7 and it takes me longer to get stuff done but i dont feel it a burden but i feel it can be useful to fellow sufferers who need a friend BE SAFE X

meg lives life to the max.

Hi Loveslife

We cope. we have to. I have chronic pain i would say 19/7. I'm ok when asleep. The tiredness I've got used to. I accept it. And make the best of the day when I have some energy. I'm helped with this by having Traditioal chinese Acupuncture once a month. I could not cope without it.
