Hi, i've just been prescribed Adcal3 due to lack of Vit D. Been taking them for 10 days now and for the past 5 days i've had a sunburn like rash just around my cheekbones and i'm really puffy and thirsty. Does anybody have any ideas or is it all coincidence?????? w00t

I had been taking ad-cal3 for over 5 years, over the last few years Ihave had symptoms of tingling in my hands and feet and occular migraine. I suspected the ad-cal and when Istopped taking it my symptoms improved .The doctor however does not seem to think it is related? I agree therefore that your symptons could be related to the ad-cal.

Ask your GP 'why am I being prescibed calcium when I need VitD?' Like you I have been prescribed AdCal for Vit D deficiency - so I have bought my own Vit D.

Not sure about the rash - sorry.

Tscore Lumbar spine -3.3, Femoral neck -2.6, Hip -2.2
Alkali diet (+ no caffeine/sugar/salt/rhubarb/spinach) and exercise and supplements of Vit D (2,000IUs daily), Vit K2 as MK7, vit K2 Menatetrenone, Cod liver oil.
