| hello, my name is Heather. I am 41 next week, and suffer from endometriosis. treatment for this has involved the use of ZOLADEX, which stops my ovaries producing oestrogen. I have been on and off this treatment since the spring of 1999, and have used a mild dose of HRT - KLIOFEM, and laterly KLIVANCE to minimise the loss of bone mass. i had a bone densomirty scan in jun 03, and all was well. this is my problem. my maternal grandmother/age 94 has osteoparosis, and ricketts. my mother has osteo-arthritus.(hope the spellings get through). am i at risk of developing osteoparosis???? if so, what are the % figures...... i have also noticed recently pelvic pain, and stiffness in my right hip joint. this is causing selling in my right leg. i know i should go to the dr, but i am scared. very scared. i just need reasurrance. thank-you for reading my story.

Sorry I can't help with your questions but if I were you I'd definately visit your GP about the swelling in your leg.
Hopefully your GP will also be able to answer some of your questions.
