Thanks for posting this link - it was interesting, and could explain why, just over 2 years ago, my Consultant decided to give me a 3 year 'rest' from Fosamax, as he said the long term effects/benefits of taking it were not known.  I had been taking a bisphosphonate for about 7 years, & am not at all sure I want to take one again.

Very interesting & disturbing read. Just been diagnosed, only taking Calcichew until I see a Consultant in April. After reading that I've decided against Bisphosphonates.

Yikes, I do not think the consultant in Oxford who hands out AA like smarties has read this....What has he read....Silly me, he has read the pharma companies PR....

Tscore Lumbar spine -3.3, Femoral neck -2.6, Hip -2.2
Alkali diet (+ no caffeine/sugar/salt/rhubarb/spinach) and exercise and supplements of Vit D (2,000IUs daily), Vit K2 as MK7, vit K2 Menatetrenone, Cod liver oil.
