Osteoporosis Conference 2010 Fees

Registration Information

Member registration fees are available for National Osteoporosis Society professional members (with membership fees fully paid at the time of registration).

Non-Member registration fees are available for those who are not professional members of the National Osteoporosis Society at the time of registration. See our Professional Membership page for further details.

Reduced Rate registration fees are available for trainee doctors (up to and including Specialist Registrar or GP Registrar level), nurses, physiotherapists, radiographers/bone density technicians, other AHPs, students and academics (below the level of Reader or Professor). Certification from your supervisor/head of department is required to qualify for student status. Provision of a GMC reference number will be sufficient to qualify for trainee doctor status.

Standard Rate registration fees are applicable for all other categories of attendee, including fully-trained hospital doctors and GPs, academics (at or above the level of Reader) and corporate delegates.

Early Bird discounts are available for bookings until 10 September 2010. Fees without early bird discounts will apply after 10 September 2010 and pre-registration closes on 19 November 2010. After this time registration will only be available onsite at the Onsite registration rates.

Registration Fees Include:

  • Access to all conference sessions, workshops and sponsored satellites
  • Access to poster area
  • Access to the commercial exhibition
  • Conference Handbook (to include Educational Update papers)
  • Abstract Issue of Osteoporosis International
  • Refreshments and lunches as per the conference programme
  • Conference Dinner on Tuesday 30 November (not included in one day fees). Day Delegates can book Conference Dinner tickets when registering.

Payment

Registration fees are payable strictly in advance of 19 November 2010 registration deadline. Please complete the online registration form with your credit card details. UK delegates may also request an invoice (to be paid by 19 June), but please note that we are unable to invoice overseas organisations. Delegates arriving at the conference with any fees partially or fully outstanding will be asked to present a debit or credit card upon arrival as either payment or guarantee of payment. Where a card is provided as guarantee of payment, this will be charged on Wednesday 15 December 2010 if outstanding fees have not been settled by that date via an alternative method. Admittance to the event will not be permitted without prior payment of fees or without debit/credit card guarantee. Where invoices have been sent to organisations for payment, and remain unpaid at the time of arrival at the conference, individuals will still be asked for a card guarantee upon arrival. Individuals are therefore strongly advised to seek proof of payment from their organisations prior to arrival and, where possible, bring with them to the conference.

Cancellations

Substitutions may be made at any time but please inform HG3 Conference Secretariat in writing of a change of name. If you find it necessary to cancel the registration completely, please notify HG3 in writing immediately. For cancellations received by 8 October 2010, a full refund will be given less a 20% administration charge. It is regretted for registrations cancelled after 8 October or for no-shows at the conference, 100% of the full fee will be payable. In the unlikely event that the National Osteoporosis Society shall deem it necessary to cancel the conference, all pre-paid registration fees will be reimbursed. The National Osteoporosis Society shall not be liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation arrangements made by individuals.
