The Helpline Service
0845 450 0230 or 01761 472721
Our Telephone Helpline service is open every weekday between 9am and 5pm (excluding bank holidays) and is staffed by a team of nurses who are experienced in osteoporosis and bone health.
The nurses are supported by a large body of osteoporosis professionals who lend their expertise to the charity, which ensures that our information is based on the most accurate and up-to-date knowledge.
The nurses are also skilled in providing emotional support and can direct callers to other relevant organisations that might be able to provide additional help.
You don't have to be a member of the National Osteoporosis Society to ring the Helpline but becoming a member supports the charity in providing this invaluable lifeline. The nurses also welcome calls from health professionals.
The nurses treat all enquiries as private and confidential and complying with the Data Protection Act 1998.
